The serial number is on the back of the unit, under the belt clip. You will need to remove the belt clip to view it.
To remove the belt clip, hold the SureshotGPS in your right hand with the display facing your palm and black cap pointing towards your wrist.
Place your left thumb on the top of the clip and then use your left index finger to lift the tab at the bottom of the clip. Push down on the upper edge of the belt clip with your right thumb and the clip will slide off.
Sometimes it can stick so jiggle it a bit while pushing with your thumb and it should come off. (Reverse these instructions if you are left handed.)
